The CCA/Mellon Multidisciplinary Program is a new model for collective research. Organized with generous support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, each CCA/Mellon Multidisciplinary Project starts with an open call for projects. At the selection seminar, peer reviewers will select eight researchers who will pursue their research project over 18 months, meeting periodically at the CCA in Montreal. The fourth project in the CCA/Mellon Multidisciplinary Program, Centring Africa aims to understand the role of architecture in decolonization, neocolonialism, globalization, and their manifestations across the African continent.
